Research Institute of Building Materials (VUSTAH) is a czech development organisation working more than 65 years in sphere of silicate building materials and related problematic.

Our management systems fulfil the requirements of standards ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009, ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005 and OHSAS 18001:2008.

Basic and applied research

Experimental activities of the institute are oriented to the sphere of inorganic bonded materials (lime, cement and other binding materials), foam concrete, lightweight concrete, artificial aggregate production, concrete mixtures for specialized purposes, solidificates, composite materials, burnt products etc. Significant activity is utilization of wastes (especially ashes and fly-ashes from coal combustion or fluid combustion and other industrial wastes) into different types of building materials and products intended for building industry, road construction, agriculture, landscape architecture and others.

• special equipment according to the requirements of the customer, e.g. testing sieves
